With more than 40 years experience with various forms of bodywork, process work, breathwork, meditation and self-inquiry, Allen Baker brings to his work a noticeable presence and desire to be your ally in health and well-being. His deep appreciation for the inter-connectedness of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health brings an understanding that the deepest healing comes from each person’s own inner healing ability. His work is designed to nurture, support and energize the “Inner Healer.” Imbalance in one area often creates a compensating imbalance in another area, as our systems seek to find homeostasis for well-being and happiness. Drawing on his own experience of healing, including healing himself of obessive-compulsive disorder, Allen recognizes that work done on one level has the capacity to reverberate in all levels of one’s being, and that addressing issues on multiple levels can effectively boost one’s capacity to heal.

Allen has taught workshops at Zen Shiatsu Chicago in Evanston, Northeastern Illinois University Great Service Matters Conference, Illinois School of Health Careers and has assisted Dr. Kravitz in workshops at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, Sirius Community in Shutesbury, Massachusetts, Rowe Conference Center in Rowe, Massachusetts, and seminars in Los Cabos, Mexico.
